Using the same scratch actor for two characters can be tricky, but Mari is so good at modulating her voice that she seamlessly embodies each character and gives us two completely different and convincing performances. Mari is incredibly easy-going and professional, and knows the ins and outs of the craft. We cannot recommend her enough for other roles!"

"Scratch recording for animation voices is no small matter. In the tenuous time when a scene or character is in its development phase, a badly delivered line can easily spoil a moment and cause an entire scene to be abandoned due to a lack of confidence it can ever work.  As a writer and director I've lost many a moment permanently that I was convinced would have been funny or compelling. Mari has become my go-to, sure-fire scratch actor when the success of a delivery is critical. Not only do I request her when failure is not an option, but her recordings have been saved in case the highly paid cast actor cannot deliver it better than Mari did. On Wild Robot there is an instance when we used the paid actor's line, but it never, ever got the laugh Mari's did. Mari has carried multiple characters to the screen with ease, confidence and speed. I will work with her anytime, and hope she finds permanent roles soon and often. She's a true talent, and her voice is appealing, unique, and colorful."
